Blog :: Screencast

Well, if everything went right, this post should be accompanied by my first screencast. I made it mostly to gain familiarity with the tools (vnc2swf.py and audacity) and process, but I did demo a couple of Firefox config tips I like. Happy watching!

Update:I knew that was too easy. My screencast isn't showing up in my new youtube account - it says it was rejected because of a "format error". I assume this means that I can't upload the .swf file vnc2swf produces. Fortunately vnc2swf comes with a swf->mpeg converter, unfortunately it throws an error when I run it. I need to debug a bit and see what I can come up with...

Update: Finally! Video works now...
