Blog :: Christ the Center

This still isn't the essay I've been spending time on, but it relates so I thought I'd post it here. This Sunday Morning I did the opening to the message at the Church I am attending. At the previous Church I attended, I got very comfortable giving openings and addressing the congregation. Perhaps due to the fact that the faces aren't as familiar to me yet, I had a lot of trouble thinking through my ideas in preparation and was nervous about actually speaking. Eventually I ended up writing an essay (and reading it, more or less) instead of working from an outline and speaking more extemporaneously as I prefer to do.

The advantage of that, of course, is that I actually have an essay I can post. Click here to read my thoughts on the centrality of Christ...
